With over twenty years of experience in education, Enrique Pérez García has devoted his career to guiding students and families in their holistic development. His vocation centers on building close-knit, rigorous, and internationally minded educational communities where school and home walk together in shaping young people who are ethical, responsible, and compassionate. As Head of School at Colegio Terranova, he leads with a commitment to maintaining academic excellence, promoting innovation, and strengthening the human values that distinguish the institution.
Alexandra Romo, a graduate in International Business from the University of Lyon (France), brings over 13 years of experience in the international education sector with a focus on sales, operational management and organisational development. Her career (starting in 2011) has progressed through commercial roles to executive positions — including General Manager in Mexico and Ecuador, Regional Manager for South America, and Product Manager at a multinational education company. At ISP Schools Ecuador she currently serves as Director of Internal Operations and Commercial Development, leading cross-functional teams (academic, administrative and commercial) and driving efficiency, innovation and talent growth. Her leadership style emphasises strategic vision, collaborative culture and strong community relationships, all rooted in a deep commitment to building healthy organisational environments where every team member can flourish and contribute to a high-quality, inclusive, transformative educational experience.
Martín Fernández Toscano is an experienced educator and engineer with a Master’s in Education focused on Technology Applied to Learning from Tecnológico de Monterrey. With over 30 years in education and leadership, he has served as Vice-Rector and IB Programme Coordinator at Colegio Británico Internacional and as an international facilitator and examiner for the International Baccalaureate Organization.
At Colegio Terranova, he leads the Learning Department, fostering innovation, academic excellence, and continuous professional growth among teachers.
José Ignacio Anangonó brings a strong background in bilingual education and academic leadership to the role. He holds two master’s degrees from the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR): one in Bilingual Education and another in Management and Direction of Educational Institutions. He previously directed the IB Programme at Colegio Intisana, gaining experience in curriculum leadership and teacher support. As a member of the International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN), he collaborates internationally as a visiting evaluator of IB schools. At Colegio Terranova, he offers a strategic, globally-aligned vision anchored in the IB standards and the Learning First philosophy, with a drive to inspire students to reach their full academic and personal potential.
Daniela Valdez serves as the Head of Primary at Colegio Terranova, bringing over 10 years of experience in prestigious educational institutions. Her educational and leadership approach is centered on empowering both teachers and students, fostering a collaborative environment where meaningful learning is the core focus.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Innovation in Education (Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina), holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Studies in Literature (University of Barcelona, Spain), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Communication (Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador).
Daniela promotes an inclusive environment based on respect and open communication, developing pedagogical programs that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. Her experience and dedication are key to strengthening the Primary Section at Colegio Terranova, ensuring a comprehensive and high-quality education for all students.
Lucía Donoso is an educator with over 20 years of experience in bilingual and inclusive educational settings. Her leadership integrates academic direction and classroom practice, enabling her to deeply understand the needs of students, families and teachers alike. In her current role at Colegio Terranova’s Preschool section, she champions a child-centered learning model based on the Learning First philosophy and the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor’s in Education with specialization in English; a second Bachelor’s focused on Early Childhood Education; and she is pursuing a Master’s in Psychopedagogy at UNIR. She holds international certifications in English teaching, educational leadership and early-childhood PYP. For Lucía, education is a shared journey with families and children where each child has the opportunity to grow, discover and shine in a nurturing, inspiring environment.
Mateo Camacho holds a Master’s Degree in Administration and Organizational Management and is currently pursuing a second Master’s in Marketing with a focus on Digital Strategy. A graduate in International Business from Universidad de las Américas (Quito), Mateo has been part of the education sector since 2017. His career includes extensive experience in international academic programs and organizing student development events.As Director of Admissions at Colegio Terranova, Mateo is committed to designing admission processes that reflect the school’s values, strengthening the relationship between families and the institution. He also leads innovative activities that help new students integrate into a welcoming and dynamic environment.His commitment to education lies in fostering an academic experience that combines high standards of excellence with a human-centered approach — promoting trust, respect, and meaningful learning across the school community.

With solid experience in admissions management within international educational institutions, Joselyn Sosa leads student recruitment and retention strategies across Ecuador, Peru, and Colombia. In her role as Regional Admissions Manager at ISP, she oversees the implementation and optimization of admissions processes to ensure an exceptional experience for families, students, and staff.
Joselyn stands out for developing strategic procedures that strengthen Colegio Terranova’s positioning in the region. Her focus on continuous improvement in service quality and efficient post-sales management contributes significantly to the school’s growth and student loyalty. Skilled in Positive Discipline projects and institutional project structuring. Knowledgeable in counseling practices aligned with the IB Diploma Programme.

Clinical Psychologist and certified expert accredited by the Judicial Council. He has extensive experience in academic, emotional, and behavioral support for children and adolescents, promoting formative processes from a human and preventive perspective. His educational work is complemented by his clinical training, which allows him to offer an integral vision oriented towards student well-being and family support.
I have had the great honor of being part of the Terranova Community for more than 15 years.
