The goal of the Health Services Department at Terranova is to protect the health and physical integrity of our students, through the application of preventive programs and medical assistance. For this we have 3 medical service units in each of the 3 sections of our school. Each medical division has adequate equipment, supplies and medications for optimal quality care.
The preventive program consists of an adequate “control of the healthy child”, regulating the reception and evaluation of visual, hearing exams, vaccines, medical records and others that are required as the case may be, as well as nutritional assessment.
Medical care is aimed at solving immediate health problems that children present. In cases of serious emergencies, we follow the “Protocol of Serious Medical Emergencies”.
The School also has emergency medical insurance and ambulance service for those cases that require it.
